Carrier Setup: Common Questions
Active FMCSA operating authority (MC/USDOT), auto liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, cargo insurance of at least $100,000, a certificate of insurance naming AFX Logistics as certificate holder, a completed W-9, and a signed carrier agreement.
Most carriers are verified and approved the same business day they submit a complete packet. Missing or expired documents are the only thing that slows it down.
Yes. We work with both established fleets and newer operating authorities, provided your insurance is in place and your safety standing is clean.
At minimum, $1,000,000 in auto liability and $100,000 in cargo coverage, with AFX Logistics listed as the certificate holder. Some specialized freight may require higher cargo limits.
The executed carrier agreement and the load-specific rate confirmation state your payment timing, the paperwork we need, and any authorized deductions. We pay on those terms once your signed proof of delivery and invoice clear review. If you factor, send a Notice of Assignment and we pay your factor directly after we verify the assignment. Do not rely on a website summary as a substitute for those documents.
