This page documents the AFX Logistics Operations Alerts text message program: what we send, the single way a mobile number is added, the exact consent language, and how a person declines or stops messages at any time. It is published so the program's consent process is transparent and reviewable.
1. What the messages are
Enrolled, authorized staff receive event-driven internal system alerts about high-value security, fraud, business, and platform events. Every message is identified as being from AFX. Messages contain no marketing or promotional content and may include an authenticated AFX administrator link. Examples of the alert format:
- [AFX Logistics][P1] SECURITY MFA CHANGED. Ref MFA-RESET-42. Review: https://afx-logistics.com/ops Reply STOP to end.
- [AFX Logistics][P0] CARRIER FRAUD. Ref CF-8A12BC34. Review: https://afx-logistics.com/ops Reply STOP to end.
The program does not send tracking, GPS, geofence, ETA, check-call, routine carrier, pickup, in-transit, or delivery-status updates.
2. Consent is optional and stands completely on its own
Consent to receive these text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of anything. It is collected only on its own dedicated page, which does nothing else. Agreeing to receive texts is never bundled with, and is never required for, any of the following:
- Being hired, remaining employed, or any term or condition of employment.
- Joining, remaining on, or being scheduled in the on-call rotation.
- Accepting any policy, handbook, acknowledgment, or other required agreement.
- Creating an account, accessing any AFX system or tool, buying anything, or completing any transaction with AFX Logistics.
3. The exact consent shown on the sign up page
Signing up is an affirmative, self-service action taken by the person themselves at afx-logistics.com/legal/sms-optin.html. The consent box on that page is unchecked by default, is labeled optional, and must be checked by the person. Submitting the form with the box left unchecked enrolls nothing and saves nothing. This is the exact language of that checkbox:
The live page also shows the program name, the frequency disclosure, the message and data rates notice, the STOP and HELP instructions, the no-sharing statement, and links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
4. How a number is added
A number enters the consent registry only when the person who owns it submits the sign up form above with the consent box checked. The number and name are encrypted; routine telemetry is masked; IP and user-agent evidence are one-way digests; and the record binds the timestamp, consent version, and a hash of the displayed language. A separate authorized administrator must verify and activate the recipient. Numbers are never purchased, rented, imported from a list, collected inside another form, or activated without affirmative opt-in and administrator review.
5. Stopping messages at any time
Any recipient can reply STOP to any message to stop all messages from this program immediately, and can reply HELP for help. Opting out has no effect on employment, role, or on-call duties. An employee may also ask an AFX administrator to disable their number at any time. Message frequency varies and is event-driven. Message and data rates may apply.
6. How we handle the number
Mobile information (a phone number and the consent to be contacted) is not shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. It is shared only with the service provider that delivers the messages, and only to operate the messaging service. See our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
